32 Broad St, Holiday Home

        Self catering accommodation

Please realise that the flat is the first and second floor. Ground floor is a dental practice and the entrance to the flat is through the reception area. The practice  is open from 8.30 to 5.30 mon-fri and some contact with the locals is inevitable, therefore the tariff for week days is reduced accordingly.
Please Note
The floors are uneven and frequently sloping. For example there is a good 8 inch rise form one end of the kitchen to the other, 570 years do take their toll. The stairs from 1st to 2nd floor are uneven and would not suit the very elderly. The same is true for the door to the master bedroom which is a quaint 4ft high.
About Us

Described in the records of the Palmers Guild as newly built in 1431, 32 Broad St is one of the oldest recorded properties on Broad St. It has a classic Tudor rear and a traditional Georgian front. In 1765 it is depicted in Samuel Scott’s painting of Broad St and by 1810 it has its current form. It is dripping with exposed beams, ancient oak floorboards, and chamfered cusped wind braces. As its last incarnation was essentially Georgian the rooms are of very generous proportions.

If you are looking for a genuine period property as a base from which to explore this beautiful region then this is the home for you.
